The sponsorship of the nursing home Maggenberg is the community association Gesundheitsnetz Sense with its seat in Tafers. The nursing home Maggenberg in its present form was inaugurated in 1990. The home employs about 140 people. Members of the association are the communities of the Sense district: Alterswil, Bösingen, Brünisried, Düdingen, Giffers, Heitenried, Plaffeien, Plasselb, Rechthalten, St. Antoni, St. Silvester, St. Ursen, Schmitten, Tafers, Tentlingen, Überstorf, Wünnewil-Flamatt,

In the organization chart you will find the management structure of our association of municipalities as well as the organization of the Maggenberg nursing home. In addition, our association is also responsible for the organization of Spitex in the entire district. Therefore a service contract was signed with Spitex Sense. The financing of the ambulance and rescue service in the district, the help and care at home and the foundation Personalhaus as well as the organization of the emergency service of the family doctors in the district are also done by our association.
