A home for elderly people

The Grünhalde retirement and nursing home was founded in 1970. It is a private, non-profit institution of the financially self-supporting Association for Retirement and Nursing Homes in Zurich-Seebach. The association is politically and denominationally neutral. It is associated with the Evangelical Reformed Parish of Zurich-Seebach and the Roman Catholic Parish of Maria Lourdes Zurich-Seebach. Grünhalde offers elderly residents, primarily in Zurich 11, various forms of living according to their individual need for care. This also includes a special living and care offer for elderly people with orientation problems.

An infrastructure that meets needs

Our infrastructure is fully geared to the needs of our residents - with a roof terrace, well-tended gardens and the public Bistro 19 with a generously designed garden terrace.

The 59 single rooms and 4 apartments are spacious and have their own sanitary facilities suitable for the elderly. They can be furnished with private furniture; closet, nursing bed, bedside table and emergency call are part of the standard equipment.

Security and protection for elderly people with orientation problems

We also offer security and protection to elderly people suffering from dementia by means of a special living and care offer.

A specially created residential group with 9 places meets the needs of these people as far as possible - in an atmosphere without hectic, time and performance pressure. We meet the changed behaviors and unfamiliar situations momentarily and flexibly.

Day guests As a relief for relatives we offer 2 day places.
