Hof Riedern offers accommodation for individuals and couples. The individual rooms, halls as well as the surrounding park area invite to stay and meet. Vacation and rehabilitation stays are possible in addition to permanent stays. They allow a first acquaintance with the facility. We maintain the view that life offers stimulation and opportunities for development at all times, and thus a transfer to an age-appropriate institution can be a step that, in addition to all possible limitations, also offers enrichment and opportunities for development. Contrary to the current trend to change residence only when remaining at home is no longer possible, even with support, we recommend considering such a step at a time when an active participation in daily life still seems realistic. No matter what you decide: at "Hof Riedern", of course, all people, even those with complex and extensive care and support needs, will find a familiar living space. We offer care and nursing mainly in single rooms for 17 people internally as well as for up to 4 people in our accompanied living form in outbuildings. We are of the opinion that it is precisely the intimate setting that provides room for individual and personal shaping of one's twilight years in a supportive community. Those who become ill and in need of care should be allowed to remain in their own environment, their own room. The neighborhood of the Rudolf Steiner School with a large number of children and a cultural framework can enrich life. The possibility of young and old meeting has a particularly invigorating effect, but is also a training ground for mutual tolerance. But also living together in community is - especially for people who previously lived and organized their everyday life alone - a considerable field of development.
