Alters- und Pflegeheim Ruhesitz (Beringen)

The Ruhesitz Retirement and Nursing Home Foundation provides residential and nursing care to the communities of the "Altersbetreuung der Gemeinden des Oberklettgau" association. The foundation has the mandate to provide special living arrangements for the care of people with dementia. The service contract also includes the provision of palliative care in addition to semi-inpatient and temporary care. For more than 25 years, elderly people in the communities of the special-purpose association have been helped to live with the highest possible quality of life in the most suitable form of housing - whether at home or in an institution - through our meal service, the provision of care materials, the loan of care materials and advice on issues relating to working with the elderly. New Center for Aging (ZAF) In 2016, it was recognized that future models of care for the elderly would not be based on the traditional model of the classic retirement and nursing home. For years, the retirement home has been developing from a pure "retirement home service provider" to a service center for the communities of the Zweckverband Oberklettgau. This new model is no longer oriented towards the classic old people's home, but sees the Ruhesitz as a service provider that wants to enable its customers to live a self-determined life in their preferred living environment. Integral components of care are basic medical care, accompanying services and leisure activities. Outpatient and inpatient forms of care are supplemented by assisted living services in suitable and nearby apartments. Important components of this concept are a continuous, integrated care process along outpatient, assisted and inpatient forms of living as well as close coordination and support of the clients by means of case management. The motivation for developing the model was primarily to develop a care structure that is oriented to the individual needs of the aging population. FRÜELING II, the envisioned Center for Aging (ZAF) aims to individually meet the needs of seniors at all stages of life. We hope to have the new building ready for occupancy as soon as possible.
