Nursing and care concept

Principle

We approach our residents in the activities of daily living with a positive, open, appreciative attitude. The physical, mental and spiritual well-being of our residents is our primary goal. We respect the autonomy, life history and values of the residents. We offer support in maintaining social contacts.

Our goal

We offer individual care around the clock. In doing so, we provide resource-oriented care. In case of restrictions we offer support to our residents. We act according to current scientific nursing knowledge.

Organization - nursing care

With the reference care we build up a closer relationship to the individual residents. One nurse accompanies several residents assigned to her.

She coordinates information between the resident, relatives, team and interdisciplinary services and is responsible for the care process of the respective person according to her competences.

Activation

We offer interesting activities and entertainment options to ensure a varied and diverse daily routine. A fixed component is the joint celebration of festivals in the annual cycle. These promote cohesion and contribute to the "joy of life - even in old age".

Palliative care

In the care and support of seriously ill and dying residents, we are guided by the principles of palliative care and support. We respect any living wills.

Limits of nursing and care

In the case of illnesses for which we can no longer guarantee the desired quality of care or which massively affect the environment, a transfer to an appropriate institution can take place in consultation with the person concerned, their relatives and the doctor.

Documentation

The course of care is continuously recorded by the nurse in the nursing documentation. In doing so, we take into account the applicable data protection regulations and the duty of confidentiality.

Quality promotion

The quality standards of the canton are the benchmark for our actions. Through regular internal and external training, we continue to develop our nursing and care services and achieve a high level of quality. Contacts and exchange with other institutions are important to us. Current professional literature is available to all employees.

We offer apprenticeships in the field of nursing and care. To. We accompany and support trainees during their training as nursing specialists.

Interdisciplinary cooperation

We maintain open, respectful communication and cooperation with relatives, family doctors, pastoral care providers and therapists of our residents.
