The Sophie Guyer Retirement Center is operated by a non-profit foundation and is non-denominational. It offers the elderly living space and care places with services tailored to their needs and provides Spitex services for residents of Pfäffikon and Hittnau in need of care and assistance.

Spitex Pfäffikon-Hittnau is part of the retirement center. This enables close and networked cooperation in the care and support of elderly people in the community.

The Sophie Guyer Retirement Center works according to the principles of responsible action and ensures that people can grow old in dignity by providing competent care and nursing. Maintaining and promoting physical, mental and social abilities is a central part of the daily work of the center's employees.

The Board of Trustees, the management and the employees are committed to ensuring that the elderly at the Sophie Guyer Retirement Center continue to be respected and taken seriously in society.

Living

**House Guyer The venerable House Guyer offers a very special living atmosphere in its own room for 10 people.

House Böndler In Haus Böndler 42 residents live in spacious, self-furnished single rooms and are cared for and looked after as required. In the residential group on the first floor, 12 people with dementia receive adapted and competent care and nursing.

**House Zelgli Haus Zelgli can accommodate 22 elderly people in need of care in modern, spacious single rooms. If more space is needed or for couples, ten 2 ½-room apartments and one 3 ½-room apartment are available on the 2nd floor.

**Bachtel House Independent but not alone is the motto at Haus Bachtel. Thirteen 2 ½- and five 3 ½-room apartments are available for couples or individuals who want to access services as needed.

All four houses are connected in a closed system. A naturally landscaped park invites you to stroll and linger.

Support

At home with Spitex services The Spitexdienste Pfäffikon-Hittnau care for, accompany and support you at home.
Nursing specialists enable you to live in your own four walls even if you need care. Home helpers ensure that your household remains in good shape.

Short-term care in the geriatric center In order to relieve the burden on caring relatives, we offer adapted care and support for persons in need of care in the center for the elderly, for individual hours, days or nights. In doing so, they get to know the facility, the people and the services.

**In the retirement apartment In the handicapped accessible retirement apartment you live completely independently, or you use the services of the retirement center partially or completely. We will provide you with laundry as needed, take care of apartment cleaning, nursing and care, and offer you varied meals in the Zelglihaus restaurant.

**In a single room In your personally furnished room we grant you privacy. Hotel services such as room cleaning, laundry and meals are included in the basic rate. Nursing and care services are available upon request.

In the psychogeriatric residential group. In a specially equipped residential group with its own garden, we care for people with dementia in single or double rooms and adapt the services to the stage of the illness.

The services of Spitex Alterszentrum Sophie Guyer can be used by all residents of Pfäffikon and Hittnau. For this purpose, the municipalities have concluded a service agreement with the Sophie Guyer Aging Center Foundation.
