Casa per anziani Consortile (Sorengo)

The "Al Pagnolo" Home for the Elderly managed by a consortium of municipalities (Collina d'Oro, Lugano, Muzzano and Sorengo) is located in Sorengo. Citizens domiciled in the consortium municipalities for at least one year are eligible for "priority" admission to the facility.

Collina d'Oro, as well as the other consortium municipalities (Lugano, Muzzano and Sorengo), is in fact charged a financial share calculated according to the distribution of the days of presence of its fellow citizens' guests.

Moreover, the Management of the Home for the Elderly maintains among its priority lines of action respect for the personal sphere of the elderly, who are encouraged to rebuild their family environment in the Institute, and that of their freedom to manage their daily lives independently.

For seniors who are still independent and at least partially autonomous, there is the possibility of having lunch at the facility and attending musical afternoons.
