Home Vallée de l'Intyamon (Villars-sous-Mont)

Our institution is designed to accommodate elderly people whose state of health requires nursing care and continuous supervision. This is in compliance with the Health Act of November 16, 1999, the Act on medico-social establishments for the elderly of March 23, 2000 (LEMS) and its Regulation of December 4, 2001 (REMS).

Our services are continually being expanded, and are open to all people of AHV age living in the canton of Fribourg, mainly in the Gruyère district. Priority for admission is given to elderly people living in a commune that is a member of the intercommunal association for the operation of the "Home de la Vallée de l'Intyamon". This association comprises the communes of Bas-Intyamon, Grandvillard and Haut-Intyamon.

We have a high ethical responsibility towards our guests. To this end, we have signed up to the Code of Ethics drawn up by the AFIPA (Association Fribourgeoise des Institutions pour Personnes Agées).

Since 2005, our facility has also met the requirements of the QUAFIPA standard. This management system meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2000. It includes a series of criteria from the EFQM model.
