Pflegehome GmbH, who are we?

We are a politically and denominationally neutral non-profit organization, which provides outpatient care services, in the legal form of a limited liability company. We are the first outpatient nursing home in Switzerland with the goal that our guests can spend their twilight years at home.

If this is not possible, our guests can enter a shared apartment, which is located near the day home. The Department of Health and Social Affairs in Aarau monitors our activities and supervises us. Due to our new status as an outpatient nursing home and our activity as a non-profit organization, the costs in the health care system are considerably relieved.

Main idea

The support and care at home, as the promotion and preservation of autonomy is an important pillar (component) for us. The stay during the day in the day home promotes social contacts and thus prevents loneliness, ensures the supply of meals, promotes autonomy by accompanying e.g. to the grocery store and much more.

The goal is that our guests can stay in their familiar surroundings and do not have to move to a room in a nursing home. Furthermore, our guests are provided with individually tailored care and support, thus relieving their relatives.
