Residenz Cartau (Aarau)

The nursing and retirement home Residenz Cartau in Aarau offers care places for people in need of care and those not in need of care in a family-style residential community.

The home manager couple Carolina and Fritz Schmid opened the family retirement and nursing home in 2004. The retirement home is located in the Aarepark in a modern neighborhood.

Our institution has two 6 ½ room apartments and one 5 ½ attic apartment, which can accommodate a total of 14 residents. 15 well-trained and motivated staff members strive to provide quality care.

We offer a holistic care.
It is our goal that every resident can keep his quality of life and his peculiarities. Our retirees are kept with us as members of the family. We accompany the residents through healthy and sick days until death. We consider dying as a part of life.
