Süssbach Pflegezentrum AG (Brugg AG)

Süssbach Pflegezentrum AG is a non-profit public limited company. The company provides services in the areas of long-term care, dementia, day care, therapies, catering and hotel business. With 320 employees and 222 beds, süssbach is one of the largest long-term & short-term care providers in the canton of Aargau.

The süssbach is advantageously embedded in the Brugg Health Center. Here, a total of 30 organizations offer customers a wide range of healthcare services aimed at enabling a high quality of life. There are numerous medical practices from a wide range of medical disciplines. For example, the Institute for Nephrology/Dialysis Brugg site of the Cantonal Hospital Baden and the Institute Radiology KSB Brugg as well as Gastroenterology Brugg and many more. The outpatient surgery center Medizinisches Zentrum Brugg AG, pharmacy Süssbach, Süssbach Therapien and Medical Training Center, hairdresser and gastronomy are also on site.

The süssbach offers 131 single and 51 double rooms as well as various public rooms, spread over three buildings (House B, C and D). Each ward consists of different types of rooms, which can be selected according to personal wishes. Each room has basic equipment, which can be supplemented individually. The design of the public spaces was renovated in 2018 by a design concept by Alexa Blum, selected by employees and customers. In activation and day care, the employees of süssbach create a varied daily routine for the customers. The focus is on the autonomy and individuality of each person. The offer includes individual and group activities, music and society, design and art, cognition and motor skills and household (cooking, baking, preparation).

The garden of the care center as well as the surroundings of the senior apartments are laid out like a park. The large pond on the Süssbach grounds and the colorfully planted raised beds at the Schönegg Brugg AG senior apartments are eye-catchers and points of attraction. At the süssbach, a pergola, animal enclosure and a garden specially adapted to the needs of people suffering from dementia have been created. Wheelchair-accessible paths, shady seating areas under trees and a spacious terrace invite people to stroll and linger.
