Wohn- und Pflegezentrum Au (Urnäsch)

The Wohn- und Pflegezentrum Au, or WPZ for short, is a modern, family-run home in the middle of the village of Urnäsch in the Appenzell hinterland. The home was opened in December 2014 and sees itself as a competence center in the areas of living, care and nursing. Our spacious, bright and comfortably designed rooms invite you to feel at home and enjoy yourself. Tradition and customs are very important to the municipality of Urnäsch and to our home. Throughout the year, events such as New Year's Eve celebrations, alpine rides, cattle shows and other events enliven the village and our house. Other regular activities and events, which are offered weekly, are also important to us. The residential and care center has 32 large single rooms with modern infrastructure. If required, these can also be occupied by two people. Around 50 members of staff look after the people living with us in a professional, warm and committed manner.
